HDG Galvanized Steel Coil
Hot-dip galvanizing is the process of applying a layer of zinc to metal to protect it from corrosion. We can denote it as HDG. The process is divided into three main steps, as follows: surface treatment galvanized examine During the surface preparation step we have to use wires to hang steel items or place on appropriate shelves. Thereafter, the steel goes through three cleaning steps: degreasing, pickling and fluxing. The degreasing step removes dirt from the steel surface. The pickling step removes scale and iron oxide. In a subsequent fluxing step, it removes any other oxides present on the steel surface and forms a protective layer that prevents further oxide formation.

Product Description

A hot-dip galvanized coil (GI) is produced by passing the pickled and rolled full-hard plate through a zinc pot and coating the surface with a zinc film. Due to the properties of zinc, it has excellent corrosion resistance, paintability, and workability. Generally, the process and specifications of hot-dip galvanized steel sheets and galvanized steel coils are basically the same.

Hot-dip galvanizing is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel or iron to prevent rust.
Due to the self-sacrificing properties of zinc, it has excellent corrosion resistance, paintability, and processability.
The desired amount of gold plating can be selected and produced, especially thick zinc layers (maximum 120g/m2) can be produced.
Depending on whether the sheet has been flattened, it is classified as Zero Sequin or Super Smooth.
