Product Description

Galvanized steel refers to the process of covering mild steel with a layer of zinc to provide good corrosion resistance. Stainless Steel Supply offers G90 galvanized steel, which means a minimum of 0.90 ounces of zinc coating per square foot (total coating, both sides of the sheet). When applied evenly to both sides of G90 Galvanized Steel, the minimum weight per surface is 0.45 oz.
Galvanized steel sheet is a very common structural material used in the automotive industry, construction, bridges, frames, pylons, signs, air conditioning systems, electrical components, high-strength cables, and many other uses. Galvanized steel is easy to form and easy to weld. Galvanized steel is an excellent choice when low cost and relatively high strength are required.
